PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: the price for producing bioethanol serving as an alternative to gasoline fuel must be 100 yen or less per liter as compared to the supply price of gasoline; and according to the study of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the price of rice serving as an underlying raw material must be 20 Yen, leading to low income for farmers, the situation of which further could cause them to abandon farming.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of using Kudzu (Pueraria lobata) root for power generation. For the purpose of local production for local consumption of energy and power sales, not only bioethanol but also hydrogen and methane as well as herbal medicine are produced from the same raw materials. For the purpose of increasing revenue from by-products, and obtaining the raw materials from the mountain during agricultural off-season, experience seekers in urban areas are asked to perform maintenance and conservation of forests, thereby to increase revenue of farmers such as from restaurants and activate regional economy.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
