SOLUTION: To heat pre-manufactured red fluophor which is Mn activated polyfluoride represented by AMF:Mn (1), to 50°C or more in a gas containing a fluorine atom and practically no oxygen atom, where M is one or more kind of tetravalent element selected from Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ge and Sn, A is one or more kind of alkali metal selected from Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs and contains at least Na and/or K .EFFECT: According to the invention, a Mn activated polyfluoride fluophor hardly being deteriorated even with lightning for long time at large current when used for white LED.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
