The present invention relates to a driving apparatus for a vehicle. More specifically, the driving apparatus for a vehicle comprises: an engine operated by using energy obtained by combustion of a fuel; a driving motor having a rotor having the same rotational shaft directly connected to a crank shaft of the engine and having a stator coupled to the engine to be stored inside the rotor to rotate the rotor; and a planetary gear reduction device stored inside the rotor and reducing the speed of the rotor. Therefore, the present invention improves fuel efficiency, varies structural designs of a periphery of the engine of a hybrid vehicle, and minimizes a size thereof.
