The present invention relates to an apparatus for blocking a harmful object, which can prevent the apparatus for blocking a harmful object from being intentionally neutralized by a user. Provided is an apparatus for blocking a harmful object, the apparatus comprising: an external network connection cable; a client on which a web browser is installed; and a network device which is disposed between the cable and the client, and performs an HTTP proxy function, wherein (A) the network device comprises: 1) an HTTP processing unit which inspects the HTTP request protocol, transmitted by the client to an external network, for an agent identification code, and transmits an HTTP request protocol to an external network only when the agent identification code has been detected; and 2) an agent installation code output unit which includes an agent installation code adapted to install an agent and HTTP patch unit of another client on the client, and thus outputs the agent installation code to the client when the HTTP processing unit cannot detect the agent identification code, and (B) the other client comprises: 1) the agent which is installed by the agent installation code output by the agent installation code output unit, and blocks a harmful object using a predetermined method; and 2) the HTTP patch unit which is installed by the agent installation code output by the agent installation code output unit, together with the agent, and has a function of inserting the agent identification code into the HTTP request protocol requested by the web browser of the client via the Internet when the agent normally operates. |
