A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce electro magnetic interference by rising or falling a sustain signal in multi steps. A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel(200) and a driver(210), and the plasma display panel includes electrodes. The driver supplies a sustain signal, which includes a voltage rising interval, a voltage maintaining interval, and a voltage falling interval during a sustain period when a sustain discharge for image display is generated, to the electrodes. The voltage rising interval includes a first interval for gradually rising a voltage having a first slope, a second interval for gradually rising a voltage having a second slope larger than that of the first interval after the first interval, and a third interval for gradually rising a voltage having a third slope larger than that of the second interval after the second interval.
