PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound encoding system with which it is possible to realize a low quantization error and improve sound reproducibility, and a sound encoding system capable of sound reproduction for even a discretionary sound source.SOLUTION: The sound encoding system includes an adaptive normalization unit for finding a normalization prediction error in which a prediction error is normalized on the basis of a prediction error that is a difference between sound information and a prediction value of the sound information and a prediction value of the prediction error. At least one of adaptive normalization units 43, 53, optimum quantization units 44, 54, optimum inverse quantization units 45, 55, and adaptive prediction units 46, 56 has an operation control interface for making a parameter pertaining to that process variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
