<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which is easy to replace a developing cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: the plurality of developing cartridges 7, each storing developer and having a developer carrier 8 holding the developer thereon in order to guide it out; a developing rotary 3 rotatably supported in the main body of the apparatus and holding the developing cartridges 7 around a rotary shaft 6; and an opening/closing lid 5 capable of opening or closing the main body 2 of the apparatus, wherein each developing cartridge 7 projects from the developing rotary 3 linked with the opening operation of the opening/closing lid 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
