<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-definition sound image localization effects without increasing the circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of a coordinate instruction P, a CPU 1 reads HRTF coefficient data (h) from an HRTF coefficient data memory M2 and reads the waveform data from a waveform buffer memory M1 by frame units. The waveform data and the HRTF coefficient data (h) are burst-transferred via a bus 2 to a simple FIR computer 3 by each frame term. The simple FIR computer 3 intermittently processes the waveform data. As a result, if the number of samples in a single frame is defined as (f) and the number of taps of an FIR filter is defined as (k), waveform data of f+k or more are transferred per frame. Thus, since (k) or more pieces of waveform data can be transferred, while being overlapped with adjacent frame, the waveform data can be processed continuously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
