<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen exhibiting a sufficient writing performance for a long period of time in which an ink reverse flow prevention body does not generate oil-removal or the like when a volatile organic solvent is used as a main component of an ink. <P>SOLUTION: In the ball-point pen, an oily ink comprising at least the organic solvent and a coloring agent is directly stored in an ink storage part and the ink reverse flow prevention body following it accompanying consumption of the ink is arranged at a rear end of the ink. The ink reverse flow prevention body comprises a non-volatile or hardly volatile liquid and a fatty acid dextrin ester having a melting point of 100°C or higher.
