The purpose of the present invention is to realize an image-capture device for correcting a flare component in the comatic aberration of a lens, which is a color blur at an edge of a high-luminance subject, due to the conspicuousness of a color blur which is a flare component in the comatic aberration of a lens in which a formed image expands as a flare component to one side in the radiation direction in the same manner as a coma (comet). This wide-aspect, high-resolution image-capture device is characterized by having: a lens unit in which the chromatic aberration of green, red, and blue, the spherical aberration of green and red, and comatic aberration are optically corrected; a means for acquiring type information and aperture ratio information that pertains to the lens unit and acquiring and storing comatic aberration information that pertains to the lens unit; and a means having at least horizontal contour correction, the means adding to a blue video signal, on the basis of the acquired type information and aperture ratio information and the stored comatic aberration information that pertain to the lens unit, at least a horizontal contour correction signal for green, from outside of at least horizontal contour correction pixels of high-luminance pixels higher than or equal to a first reference on the left of a screen of the blue video signal to immediately before the high-luminance pixels. |
