The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition useful as a therapeutic agent or prophylactic agent which is for stress urinary incontinence and which has agonistic activity on the 5-HT2C receptor. The present invention provides a 6-aza-tetrahydro-γ-carboline derivative represented by the chemical formula shown below or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
