PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle threader for a sawing machine allowing a user to insert thread into a needle eye with both hands with an operating lever stopped in a lowered position.SOLUTION: The needle threader comprises: a needle bar-supporting frame body 1 for fixing a needle bar 15 with a needle 16 attached thereon; a threading member A having a threading tool 4 with a hook 4b formed at the bottom end of a shaft part 2 and provided with a guide pin 3 approximately orthogonal to the shaft part 2; a stationary guide member 7 having a guide groove 72 including an angle shifting groove 72b; and a movable guide member B moving in the up and down direction along the guide groove 72, and having a cam part 9 into which the guide pin 3 is inserted and guides the guide pin 3 movably in the horizontal direction. There is provided restriction means for self-holding such a state that the hook 4b of the threading tool 4 reaches the lowest end with lowering of an operating lever for descending the movable guide member B and the hook 4b is inserted into a needle hole 16a. |
