Provided are a control method and apparatus for a display device. The method comprises determining whether a mobile terminal is in a control mode, wherein the control mode is used for indicating that the mobile terminal is allowed to control a display device; when it is determined that the mobile terminal is in the control mode, receiving user operation information; determining a pre-set control instruction corresponding to the user operation information according to the user operation information; and controlling the display device according to the control instruction, so that the problem in the relevant art that it is inconvenient to control a display device is at least solved. |
