PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can enhance game amusement of performance showing lose from performance showing that symbols are variably displayed and performance showing jackpot winning from while symbols are variably displayed.SOLUTION: A game machine 1 is provided with: change display areas X1 to X5 from a first change display area X1 to a fifth change display area X5; specific symbols Y1 to Y5 from a first specific symbol Y1 to a fifth specific symbol Y5; and a blank symbol Z1. During variable display of special symbols, change display is performed in the respective change display areas X1 to X5 in the way that display of the specific symbols Y1 to Y5 or the blank symbol Z1 is switched. When special symbols showing lose are stop-displayed, the special symbol Z1 is stop-displayed in any one of the change display areas X1 to X5.
