摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field winding type synchronous machine capable of generating a larger torque at the time of maximum load.SOLUTION: The field winding type synchronous machine has a stator 10 having a stator core 11 around which a stator coil 12 is wound and a rotor 20 rotating while facing the circumferential surface of the stator 10 with an electromagnetic gap. The rotor 20 includes a rotor core 21 having a plurality of main pole portions 23 and an auxiliary pole portion 24, a main pole winding 25 wound around the main pole portion 23, a compensating pole winding 26 that is wound around the commutating pole portion 24 and generates an induced current, and a full-wave rectifying circuit 34 for rectifying the induced current and energizing the field current to the main pole winding 25. The compensating pole winding 26 generates the induced current by a magnetic flux generated by a time harmonic current superimposed on the fundamental wave of the stator coil 12. The electromagnetic gap G1 of the interpole portion 24 with respect to the circumferential surface of the stator 10 is larger than the electromagnetic gap G2 of the main pole portion 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
