Colour sheet comprises a vinylchloride sheet, and with a coating of urethane resin coating material. Pref. the coating material contains fine aluminium powder pearl pigment, opt., made of natural mica; pref. the natural mica is surface-coated with titanium oxide, opt., further surface-coated with iron oxide. The polyurethane coating material can be applied with a relatively simple coating machine. The sheet is useful for signboards, car markngs, walls, etc. The adhesion of the urethane coating material to the PVC sheet is high. In contrast to conventional colour sheets by gravure printing, silk screen printing, etc. this sheet has improved weather resistance. Colour matching is simple. Multicolour printing e.g. in stripe patterns can be easily obtd.
