The present invention concerns a drilling rod 11 which is intended to be used in a drilling line comprising a central rod assembly, in which the drilling rod 11 is included, for transmitting impact energy to a drill crown 28; 29 and a pipe assembly 12 surrounding the rod assembly for transmitting rotation to the drill crown 28; 29. The invention also concerns a drilling line component which includes a drilling rod according to the invention. In the abovementioned types of equipment, flushing medium is introduced into the space between drilling rod and pipe assembly. However, this construction principle entails disadvantages regarding control of the drilling rod located nearest to the drill crown. The characteristic feature of the present invention is that the drilling rod 11 is provided, at one end, with transverse and longitudinal flushing channels 16, 17, respectively, which communicate with each other. When the drilling rod 11 is mounted in a drilling line component 10 according to the invention, the drilling rod 11 is surrounded, at the end receiving the channel 17, by a guide 19. <IMAGE> |
