PURPOSE:To take a next measure for recognizing performance improvement by employing constitution based upon a fuzzy reasoning of a fuzzy reasoning rule which makes a method for recognition easy to understand in the form of the rule. CONSTITUTION:The individual recognition result determination parts 24 read feature vectors out of a feature vectors memory 21 output recognition results with respective NN1 - NNr. A membership value determination part 23 also reads a feature vector out of the memory 21 and outputs a membership value indicating how much the feature vector belongs to an area on each fuzzy-divided input feature vector space. The outputs of the determination parts 23 and 24 are sent to a final output determination part 27 and to find a final pattern recognition result, which is written in a recognition result memory 22. For this processing, a multiplier 25 weights the respective outputs of the determination parts 24 by the membership value of the determination part 23 and an adder 26 adds the weighted values. |
