METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PLOTTING TRACE PATTERN ON TREAD BAND OF TIRE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for simplifying a process and dispensing with skilled labor. CONSTITUTION: A vulcanized tire 2 is attached to the rim 7 rotatably supported on a main frame structure 5, capable of being vibrated around the axes Z, X vertical with respect to the rotary axis Y of the tire 2. The detection data sequence related to the surface extension part of the tire is sent to an electronic computer which stores a reference data sequence related to the trace pattern to be reproduced on the tire. These reference data are processed on the basis of the detection data sequence forming an application data sequence and the electronic computer operates a laser beam emitter 10 on the basis of the application data to plot the trace pattern necessary as the sum of succeeding different parts on the outer surface of the tire, and during the fixing of the tire, the trace pattern is plotted by the vibration of laser beam within a conical body of prescribed width.
