PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative panel reduced in warpage though provided with embossed patterns. CONSTITUTION: A composite panel 5 is formed from a core material 2 composed of a wooden plate-shaped article and the medium density fiberboard layer 3 laminated on the single surface of the core material 2 and having embossed patterns on the surface thereof and slightly thicker than the height difference of the embossed patterns and decorative sheets 1 are lapped over both surfaces of the composite panel 5 to produce a decorative panel.
