<p>PURPOSE: To provide a purifying facilities which do not require much site area and in which treated water of good quality is obtained and waste sludge is easily removed and whose cleaning does not give any trouble by providing a contact precipitating tank, a 1st contact oxidation tank, a 2nd contact oxida tion tank, and arranging aeration means, and a sludge basin to the respective tanks. CONSTITUTION: In a facilities from which treated water is discharged to rivers after river water is introduced and purified, a contact precipitator 10 through which river water is slowly passed in the horizontal direction between contact materials of corrugated plates laminated in a honeycomb in the horizontal cross section is installed. The 1st contact oxidation tank 20 packed with the 1st contact material of comparatively large specific surface area and the 2nd contact oxidation tank 30 packed with the 2nd contact material of larger specific surface area than that of the 1st contact material are installed in passing order of the river water. In each of the contact precipitator 10, the 1st contact oxidation tank 20 and the 2nd contact oxidation tank 30, diffuser pipes 2 as an aeration means and sludge basins 3 to which sludge withdrawal pipes 4 are connected are arranged.</p> |
