<p>PURPOSE: To provide an active matrix substrate and its defect correcting method capable of correcting a short circuit defect between a common line and a source line or a pixel electrode and improving a nondefective rate. CONSTITUTION: The common lines 3 are formed in parallel to respective gate lines 4, and a line connecting these parallel lines is formed on a substrate end part of a gate line terminal 1a side in parallel to source lines 2. The line parallel to the source lines 2 and connecting respective parallel lines is formed on the substrate end part of the side opposite to the gate line terminal 1a side also, and the terminal 3b is formed also. A signal similar to a common signal applied to a counter electrode is applied from these both terminals 3a, 3b. Constricted parts are provided on crossing parts between the source lines 2 and the common lines 3, and on the pixel electrodes placing in the vicinity of both sides of the source lines 2.</p> |
