<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of lock by providing a built-in power generating unit, supplying power by itself by the operation of a dial knob, using a self-generating combination only once and verifying both the identifier and type of an electronic key user. SOLUTION: A change key 48 is at first inserted to a microprocessor 30, a serial number and a customer's number are input to a touch key pad 10 and a lock 12 is initialized. For opening the lock 12, an electronic key 16 is inserted to a key socket 18, memory determining a permanent or invariable continuous number or identification number in a key memory of an electronic key 16 is read a lock logic controller and when the correctness is confirmed, a dial knob 8 is turned to the right, and a power generating unit 34 is started and the locked is opened. For locking, the dial knob is turned to the left, power is generated by the generating unit 34, the electronic key 16 is inserted in accordance with the instruction given by a display 14 and locking is achieved. From the electronic key 16, codes by various uses can be assigned to particular persons.</p> |
