PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication terminal equipment, where an opposite party is recognized without observing display by using a telephone number detection means to detect a caller telephone number through a caller telephone number display service, synthesizing voice signals based on the detected caller telephone number and informing the arrival of an incoming call in the voice signals. SOLUTION: In the case of detecting a call signal, caller ID data provided by a caller telephone number display service are received, and a caller telephone number is detected. The detected caller telephone number is stored, and after the call bell starts ringing, it is retrieved as to whether or not a telephone number matches with the caller telephone number is registered in an electronic telephone directory. When the telephone number is not found, the caller telephone number displayed on a display section 8 is voice-synthesized word by word to obtain an incoming call notification voice and the voice signal sounds from a loudspeaker 7. When the telephone number is found out, a corresponding name registered in the electronic telephone directory is extracted, and the name is voice-synthesized work by word.
