PURPOSE:To obtain enough flocking effect by blowing the flocking material under predetermined air pressure with specified intervals for such a composite material, comprising synthetic resin as a corrosion-preventing layer, flocking material such as fiber thereon, and reinforcing plastic coating. CONSTITUTION:A heavily corrosion preventive coated steel material to be used as a structural material or a pile for sea or bay consists of a steel material 1, the surface of which is cleaned with shotbrasting, etc., is subjected to chemical conversion treatment which chromic acid, and is formed with an org. primer layer as the base treatment, and then a corrosion-preventing coating layer 3 is provided after the base layer is cured. Then, a flocking material such as fiber is provided on the corrosion preventing layer 3, and a reinforcing plastic as a protective layer is formed thereon. In this case, the flocking material 4 is blown and sprayed under 0.5-4.0kg/cm<2> air pressure, while the distance from the nozzle to the steel material is set to 100-700mm range so that the flocking material 4 deposits as standing on the corrosion preventing layer 3 to give enough antishock adhesion property with the protective layer. |
