PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the same density cooccurrence matrix without depending on an extracting position of a reference pattern about a pattern image in which a fixed pattern is repeatedly arranged. SOLUTION: In this density cooccurrence matrix calculating method, the repeated reference pattern in which upper and lower sides, left and right sides are connected is extracted from the pattern image in which the fixed pattern is repeatedly arranged, a distance range between two points by which the density cooccurrence matrix is calculated is inputted, when both combined pixels of two points to be used when the density cooccurrence matrix is calculated from the reference pattern exist within the range of the reference pattern, a value of the density cooccurrence matrix is calculated by the points, when one of the combined pixels of two points exists out of the range of the reference pattern, a value of the density cooccurrence matrix of one point existing out of the range is calculated by a value of the pixel corresponding to an internal pixel of the reference pattern and calculation of the density cooccurrence matrix in the distance range is repeatedly performed for all the pixels in the image. |
