PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PC card that can realize a video telephone call with high sound quality and high image quality. SOLUTION: A video and audio companding circuit 14, a telephone function circuit and RF transmission reception circuit 12, a camera 8, a microphone 6 or the like are built in a PC card so that a PC can act like a video telephone set by having only to insert the PC card to the PC. After the insertion of the C card, a moving picture protocol or a data protocol is selected in the PC card to allow the user to use both a TV telephone function and a data communication function in a radio wave form. Moreover, as soon as a video image received in the PC is displayed on a display device of the PC, the video image is received by a storage device such as a hard disk or a memory or the video image is added to a mail and the mail can be sent in a radio wave. |
