An umbrella dewatering device capable of dewatering water droplets adhering between pleats of cloths of an umbrella and preventing users from being jammed at an entrance, characterized by comprising umbrella moving means (103) moving umbrellas in the state that the tip parts of the umbrellas (13) are facing downward, a pair of water sucking bodies (109) with absorptivity disposed opposedly to each other so as to be touched with the cloths of the umbrellas, water sucking body moving means (110) moving the pair of water sucking bodies in the moving direction of the umbrellas or the direction reverse to that moving direction, dewatering means (108) squeezing water droplets sucked into the water absorbing bodies, and drive control means (112) to drivingly control the umbrella moving means or water sucking body moving means. |
