<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking method for forming a mark on a plastic optical component by which the elimination of the mark caused by heating caused by the irradiation of a laser beam can be prevented, further to provide a manufacturing method of a spectacle lens using the same marking method, and further to provide a plastic lens. <P>SOLUTION: The marking method comprises a laser beam irradiating step for forming a projecting portion having a shape corresponding to the shape of the mark by making the surface of a plastic optical component project by irradiating the laser beam on the surface of the plastic optical component, a projection removing step for mechanically removing a projecting portion formed on the surface of the plastic optical component, and a mark forming step for forming the mark by making the projection removed portion sink from the surface by heating the plastic optical component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
