REMEDIATION TECHNIQUE OF GROUND-WATER CONTAMINATED WITH TRICHLOROEHTYLENE BY A HORIZONTALLY INJECTED WELL TYPE

A method for purifying groundwater contaminated with TCE(trichloroethylene) is provided to improve the purifying efficiency in a case that a vertical well is hardly formed, or the purification of the groundwater is hardly performed due to a low depth of a vertical well, by forming a horizontal well in the ground and injecting a purifying agent within the horizontal well. A purifying agent is prepared by mixing KMnO4 powder, liquid type paraffin, and a mixing agent which is sand, silica or mixture of the sand and the silica, and solidifying the mixture(S10). A mounting space is formed by perforating the ground of which ground water is contaminated with TCE(S20). The mounting space is disposed below a level of the ground water. The purifying agent is mounted within the mounting space(S30). The mounting space is refilled(S40). The TCE dissolved in the groundwater is oxidatively treated with the KMnO4, which continuously flows out from the purifying agents.
