<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotary electric machine wherein the occupied volume of its winding portions can be increased and further a connecting wire can be easily anchored. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple connecting wire anchoring hooks 23 on which connecting wires extended from the winding portions are to be anchored are respectively provided in proximity to the boundary between multiple magnetic pole portions 11 and a yoke 9 in correspondence with the magnetic pole portions 11. The installation position of a connector 29 on a circuit board 7 is so determined that the ends of multiple terminal conductors are positioned between two adjoining connecting wire anchoring hooks 23.
