<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel hose for a resin fuel tank directly welded to the resin fuel tank without going though any joint, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel hose for a resin fuel tank has a triple layer structure including a barrier layer 1 formed of an alloy material mainly composed of EVOH and modified HDPE, and a pair of welding layers 2 formed of HDPE on the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the barrier layer, respectively. An opening of the fuel hose at one end is configured in a form of an increased diameter portion and also in a form of a thick-walled portion. The increased diameter portion (or the thick-walled portion) is formed by reducing the speed of the movement of dies when a hose base body is extruded into an increased diameter portion of the die surface of the dies during extrusion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
