PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of causing decline in production efficiency and delay of production due to failure of finding troubles, by surely and easily finding troubles including incomplete or defective mold attachment from a change in behavior before and after the mold is detached from a mold opening/closing device and is attached again. SOLUTION: At least during the operation of molding, by a first position detection means 4a, the position of a movable mold constituting the mold C is detected directly to obtain first position data Da... By a second position detection means 4b, a physical quantity excluding the position of the movable mold Cm is detected indirectly to obtain second position data Db... concerning the position of the movable mold Cm. The first position data Da... or the second position data Db... are made to correspond to the X-axis or the Y-axis of a display 3, and the residual data is displayed by a mold position graph Ai (Aic) which is made to correspond to the residual axis.
