PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent changes of properties such as drying and increase of viscosity without wasting a liquid stored in a liquid droplet discharging head. SOLUTION: This liquid droplet discharging head is provided with a magnetic member 7 having larger diameter than diameter of an opening of a nozzle 5 movably in the inside of a communicating passage 22 connecting the nozzle 5 with a pressure chamber 21 and a holding part 22a as a section holding the magnetic member 7. A magnetic field generating means 6 attached to an outer side of a cavity part 2 is provided to switch between a condition for moving the magnetic member 7 and stirring the liquid in the inside of the communicating passage 22 and a condition for preventing the magnetic member 7 from moving and holding the magnetic member 7 in the holding part 22a.
