PURPOSE: A data-transmit-receiving method for storing power consumption and an apparatus thereof in a communications system using a multi carrier are provided to perform active and deactivate state according to the capability of multi carriers allocated to the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first RF reception terminal(903) transmits and receives a base station and data through a first carrier. A second radio frequency reception terminal(905) transmits and receives data through the second carrier from the base station. A controller(901) transmits an indication message through the first reception end from the base station. According to the directed message which the controller is transmitted from the base station, the electricity of the second reception terminal is controlled. The controller performs the activation or the deactivation of the second carrier.
