PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for issuing sheet and the like, which can properly communicate with a wireless tag, when the wireless tag within a paper tube of a paper roll is arranged in any direction and position.SOLUTION: A printer serving as an apparatus for issuing a sheet and the like includes a holding part 60 that makes the sheet held from a sheet width direction in such a manner as to be capable of feeding the sheet of a paper roll formed by winding the belt-like sheet. The holding part 60 comprises an antenna part 66 which is provided almost in parallel with a side surface of the paper roll orthogonal to the sheet width direction of the paper roll and which performs data communication with a wireless tag 20 provided in the paper roll.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
