PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shorts-type napkin including an absorber disposed along bulges of the hips, securing fitting properties at a crotch part, and inhibiting leakage of humor.SOLUTION: A shorts-type napkin 1 includes: side joining parts 29 where an outer edge of a front waistline area and an outer edge of a back waistline area are joined; and a pair of crotch compression parts 81 where the absorber is compressed in the thickness direction and that extend from the crotch area in the longitudinal direction. An interval between the pair of crotch compression parts is getting shorter towards rear end edges 81R of the crotch compression parts. The rear end edges of the crotch compression parts are located on a front side with respect to front end edges 292F of the rear side joining parts 292.
