PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle of a jetting nozzle for a water jet loom which is used for achieving the quality improvement of a woven fabric and cost reduction as a result of: minimizing the spreading of jet water jetted from the jetting nozzle, thereby minimizing the amount of the upward and downward shedding of warp yarns to reduce trouble and stress caused by the upward and downward crossing movement of the warp yarns; reducing the amount of the jetted water and the pressure of the jetted water; and reducing the stress of a weft yarn by more stable weft insertion.SOLUTION: In a needle of a jetting nozzle for a water jet loom, in order to straighten the flow of water flowing into the inside of a body 4 of a jetting nozzle 2, there is formed, on one side of a needle 6, a projection part 8 having an inclined outer peripheral surface 10 and a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 11 so that an outer diameter becomes larger in the travel direction of the water, and the water is guided so as to travel through a water passage 12 between the projection part 8 and the inside of the body 4. Thus, the needle of the jetting nozzle for the water jet loom is constituted so that the flow of the water is straightened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
