PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hermetically seal an aperture end of a housing without damaging a bearing for relatively rotatably supporting an input shaft and an output shaft in a rotation transmission apparatus for controlling engagement and disengagement of a two-way clutch by an electromagnetic clutch.SOLUTION: A bearing cylinder 4 for rotatably supporting an output shaft 2 is attached to an end part of a housing 3 covering a two-way clutch 10 for transmitting/blocking transmission of rotation between an input shaft 1 and the output shaft 2 and an electromagnetic clutch 50 for controlling engagement/disengagement of the two-way clutch 10 and a hermetic seal 60 is attached by press fitting to an inner diameter surface of an aperture end part of the bearing cylinder 4 to prevent a bearing 18 for relatively rotatably supporting the input shaft 1 and the output shaft 2 from being damaged, and the aperture end is closed by the hermetic seal 60 to prevent intrusion of a foreign material. |
