This method for calculating a load includes: a distance measurement step for measuring the distance from a displacement gauge attached to the rim of the tire to a tire inner surface by using the displacement gauge; an internal-pressure measurement step for measuring the internal pressure of the tire by using a sensor attached inside a tire chamber; and a load calculation step for calculating the load applied to the tire during travel on the basis of the measured distance and the measured internal pressure by using a calculation unit. |
