PURPOSE: To obtain an ABS-based resin excellent in impact resistance, flowability, and appearance when molded. CONSTITUTION: This ABS-based resin consisting of a graft copolymer is obtained by polymerization of 95-30 pts.wt. of a monomer mixture composed of a total of 100wt.% of 10-40wt.% of a vinyl cyanide-based monomer, 60-90wt.% of an aromatic vinyl-based monomer and 0-20wt.% of at least one kind of other vinyl- based monomer copolymerizable therewith, in the presence of 5-70 pts.wt. of a rubbery polymer >=100000 in the weight-average molecular weight of the toluene solubles therein, 40wt.% in gel content and 15-50 in swelling degree. In this graft copolymer, the weight-average particle diameter and the graft rate of the rubbery polymer is 0.15-0.40μm and 15-100%, respectively.
