PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently manage a terminal device, improve the performance of a communication system, and make the transmitting processing for a message by the front end processor efficient and usable. CONSTITUTION: Terminal management parts 12 and 13 of front end processors 10 and 11 inform host computers 1-3 of terminal information regarding terminal devices 14-17 which have logged in themselves and their front end processor equipment numbers and subordinate management parts 4-6 of the host computer hold them in subordinate information tables 7-9 and refers to the held contents when communicating with the terminal devices. Further, the front end processors 10 and 11 function to inquire the load state of the host computer before reporting the terminal information, to change the transmission order of a process queued state message array and delete some of messages according to the priority of the messages, and to change the destination of a queued message into a substitute destination.
