The weir may be used to remove flood water from clarification equipment. The weir is bent into an omega-shape (2), while spill takes place via the perforations. The spiral-shape through-flow trough, together with the weir bent into an omega shape when seen in plan view and its perforated wall, consist of prefabricated metal components.
