The integrated fuel preparation module includes a preheating and wetting zone (2), a preforming zone (3) and a fuel gas heating zone (4), provided in a common housing (1). Facilities are provided, so that these zones are subjected to a flow of fuel gas, one after the other. The preheating and the wetting zone (2) is provided with facilities (22) for the supply of vapour. The preforming zone (3) is provided with a catalyser material. The fuel gas heating zone (4) is provided with a heat exchanger unit.
