Cleaner for inner surface of vehicle tyre mould

The cleaner has a sleeve (3) and a movable sprayer (4) having at least one jet nozzle (8). The nozzle discharges dry ice pellets in a carrier fluid jet against the inner wall (14). A pellet supply has at least one supply pipe connected with the nozzle. The sleeve and the sprayer can be positioned between the mould parts (1,2) to be cleaned and define, with them, a cleaning chamber. The sleeve can be pleated and flexible and can be sound damping but at least partially gas permeable.
