<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the treating capacity of a conventional plastic material liquefaction apparatus is low since it is of a batch type and after a certain amt. of a plastic material is completely gelled in a melting vessel, the resultant gel is sent to a thermal decomposition vessel to be gasified. SOLUTION: In this process, a plastic material is heated to gasify an oil component contained therein, and a gas obtd. is liquefied by cooling. The material is transported continuously through a heat guide pipe 1; the temp. in the heat guide pipe 1 is gradually increased from the inlet side of the heat guide pipe 1 to the outlet side in such a temp. gradient that the solid material is not carbonized until it gels; the resultant gel is further subjected to high-temp. heating to gasify the oil component in the gel; and thus, continuous treatment without waiting time is enabled and the carbonization of the material in the course of gelling is prevented.</p> |
