A FEEDING DEVICE FOR A FLUID TO A COMBUSTION CHAMBER

A device for supplying a fluid to a combustion chamber (3) in a kiln (2) or the like has a tube supported outside its combustion chamber (3) and provided with circumferential orifices (5e), and drive means for axial displacement of said tube into and out from a hole in the chamber wall. The fluid is supplied via a flexible hose (7). In a housing (11) for said supply device there is arranged a cleaning means for cleaning said tube during its inward and/or outward movement. The supply device is shaped like an elongate module unit (1) having a frame portion (10) surrounding said tube (5) and replaceably applicable on the wall (2a) of the plant. The module unit has a flange shaped connection means with a seal which, in the operational position of said tube, engages the tube, said engagement being released for withdrawal of the tube.
