PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic safety tire to improve run flat durability and be excellent in both run flat durability and comfortableness and beside comparatively light. SOLUTION: A pneumatic safety tire is so formed that an annular internal cavity area comprises a pneumatic tire 1 having a side reinforcing layer 8 disposed on the inner surface of a side wall part 6; and a rim 3 in which the pneumatic tire 1 is fitted, and the annular internal cavity area being filled with the elastic foams 2 being closed cell. The rubber component of the elastic foam 2 is preferably gas permeable rubber having especially a gas permeable factor at 25 deg.C being 1.0×10-10 [cm3.cm/cm2.sec.cmHg] or more. |
