PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate for liquid crystal display excellent in transparency, low haze, heat resistance, moisture resistance, solvent resistance, dimensional stability and adhesion property. SOLUTION: The light guide plate for liquid crystal display consists of a cyclic olefin copolymer composition containing the following components (a) and (b); the component (a) is at least one species selected from organosilanes expressed by general formula (1): (R<1> )p Si(OR<2> )4-p , hydrolyzed products of the organosilanes and condensed products of the organosilanes, and the component (b) is cyclic olefin addition copolymers having silyl groups having silicon atoms coupled with hydrolysable groups and/or hydroxyl groups. In formula (1), R<1> represents a 1-10C monovalent organic group and it two of R<1> are present, they are mutually identical or different, a plurality of R<2> are mutually identical or different and each represents a 1-5C alkyl group or a 1-6C acyl group, and p is an integer of 0 to 2.
