PURPOSE: Provided is a method of making rice containing herbal components of useultang which is described in the book of Eastern Medicare and has treating effect on hypertension and complications associated with hypertension by soaking rice in the extract of Achyranthis Radix, Acanthopanacis Cortex, Phlomidis Radix and Eucommiae Cortex. The product is effective for the treatment of adult disease. CONSTITUTION: Rice is washed with water 3 to 4 times and soaked in the herbal extract of Achyranthis Radix, Acanthopanacis Cortex, Phlomidis Radix and Eucommiae Cortex for 12hr while turning upside down every 2hr and then dried for a predetermined period of time. For an example, 100g of Achyranthis Radix, 100g of Acanthopanax Seoulensis, 100g of Phlomidis Radix and 100g of Eucommiae Cortex are mixed with 5L of water and extracted at 100deg.C for 3hr. Then, 800g of rice is soaked and then dried.
